Ingredients: 3/4 cup butter, softened, 1-1/2 cups sugar, 3 large eggs, room temperature, 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour, 1/4
teaspoon baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup sparkling apple cider. Glaze: 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar, 3 to 4 teaspoons
sparkling apple cider. Turn the oven on to 350°. Grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan and line the bottom with paper. Beat butter and
sugar in a large bowl for five to seven minutes, or until light and fluffy. One egg at a time, add and beat thoroughly after each
addition. Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a separate basin. Slowly add the flour mixture to the creamed
mixture, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Place in the ready pan. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Allow to cool in the
pan for ten minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to finish cooling. Whisk together glaze ingredients in a small bowl until smooth and pour over cake, letting drip down edges.
